Our expertise in art collection crating was enlisted by a local enthusiast to facilitate the safe transportation of his private art collection from Maryland to Pennsylvania.
Artful Agility
Despite having only a three-day notice, our team swiftly delivered over 55 museum-quality crates to the collector’s office suite where the art collection was located. These crates accommodated a diverse range of artworks, including bronze statues, woven tapestries, oil on canvas paintings, and crystal glass. To ensure the preservation of the delicate artworks, we utilized non-off-gassing materials for all interior surfaces of the packaging crates. Post-shipment, the collection found secure storage in a climate-controlled facility in Pennsylvania.
Mixed Mediums
Our meticulous art crating process employed specialized methods and packing materials to guarantee the artworks’ integrity during transit and long-term storage. The interior surfaces of the crates were lined with an inert non-off-gassing material, and each contact point was cushioned with stratocell foam and volora materials. Every component of the crate exterior was crafted to withstand the rigors of shipping.
Safe and Sound(less)
Our crew successfully executed the crating project with minimal disruption to the corporate suite’s operations. We then delivered the valuable artwork to its destination in western Pennsylvania, ensuring it arrived safely and without damage. A significant portion of the collection was later donated to a university as a charitable contribution.
